Adventures in Mozambique
Diving in Mozambique
With almost 2,700 km of coastline, Mozambique has several underwater paradises ideal for diving or snorkelling.
In the south, close to the capital at Ponta do Ouro, lies the marine reserve of the Maputo National Park, about 120 kilometres long, where you can dive between 10 and 53 metres deep.
Fishing in Mozambique
Have an unforgettable experience in the different modalities of sport fishing (plugging and jigging among others), and even big game fishing. Mozambique is one of the best places in the world to live extraordinary moments full of emotion and adventure in an incomparable environment. The Black Marlin, one of the most coveted species of fish, is found on these coasts.
Depending on the season and the type of fishing you wish to do, you can find Blue and Striped Marlin, Barracudas, Manatees, Giant Kingfish, Mackerel, different species of Tuna, Black Sharks, and more.
Surfing in Mozambique
Mozambique is one of the top 10 best surfing countries in the world according to The Guardian newspaper. Tofo, in the province of Inhambane, is considered the best spot. It has ideal conditions for beginner surfers, while more experienced surfers won’t need to go far to find world-class reef brakes and point breaks. All in an idyllic setting of warm waters.
Equestrian Tourism
For equestrian enthusiasts, Inhambane is beyond extraordinary, providing a truly unique experience. The legend of horses rescued from Zimbabwean farms comes to life, and swimming with these animals in warm turquoise waters becomes a reality.
You can opt for a walk along the ocean, swim with horses, explore Benguerra Island, or choose to do them all! Horses love to dive and wallow in the water, and the small beach at Chibuene is a perfect haven to enjoy the whole experience.
